Ryan joins WhitbeckBennett after 18 years of practicing law in the state of Texas. Ryan was first licensed to practice law in 2003, became Board Certified in family law in 2012.
Ryan Graduated from Baylor in 1998 with degrees in Management Information Systems and International Business. He then graduated law school in 2002, from Texas A&M University. Ryan also holds a Master of Law in Taxation earned from Southern Methodist University in 2005.
Prior to joining WhitbeckBennett, Ryan worked for multiple firms in Texas including, Boyd Veigel PC, and Koons Fuller. He then worked for a few different firms before finally hanging a shingle with his wife, April. April practices estate planning, probate, and guardianships for the firm.
Ryan has been named a Texas Rising Star from 2011-2014 and a Texas Super Lawyer (2015-2018, 2021). He is a fellow of the National Association of Distinguished Counsel, and a National Trial Lawyer top 40 under 40.
Ryan has been married to his wife April for 21 years, and they have three children. They reside in McKinney, Texas.
