Amber M. Godfrey received her Bachelor of Science degree in Family Relations Child Development (Pre-Professional) from Oklahoma State University in 2003. She concurrently worked on, and then received in 2005, her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a minor in English, also from Oklahoma State University, graduating both times with Honors. Following her undergraduate education, Ms. Godfrey earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2008, also graduating with Honors.
Ms. Godfrey has been practicing law for over 16 years. Prior to joining WhitbeckBeglis, she founded her own private practice in 2016 in Oklahoma City so that she could serve her clients in the Oklahoma City metro, including Oklahoma, Cleveland, McClain, and Canadian Counties. She focuses on family law, which includes divorce, child support, custody modifications, Guardian ad Litem, adoption, and guardianships, as well as minor estate law.
When not practicing law, Ms. Godfrey enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, as well as their two dogs. She is an avid cook and baker; enjoys drawing, painting, and other crafts (including woodworking); kickboxes; and is as content hiking in Colorado as she is sunning on the beach in California or curling up with a good book or movie.
