Lawrence D. Fabian

Lawrence (Larry) D. Fabian has been practicing law for over 30 years. Before becoming an attorney, he earned a master’s degree in social work and spent a decade working as a licensed clinical social worker. He attended Northern Virginia Law School, which offered a weekend program, allowing him to balance his legal studies with full-time work as a social worker, raising two children, and managing family life. 

After five years of dedicated weekend study, Fabian graduated from law school, passed the Virginia Bar in 1991, and went on to establish The Law and Mediation Center. His practice has focused on alternative dispute resolution and family law, where he has consistently aimed to resolve complex and sensitive issues in a respectful and amicable manner. Drawing on his background in social work, Larry brings a unique, compassionate approach to conflict resolution. 

With decades of experience and a client-centered philosophy, he has built a positive reputation within the Northern Virginia area.
