WhitbeckBennett associate, Vernon M. Vassallo, has been elected Vice Chair of the Delaware State Bar Association’s Family Law Section.
Vernon is a young, up-and-coming attorney who is quickly making a name for himself in the Delaware family law community. He is a first-generation college graduate from the Wilmington area who earned his J.D. from Delaware Law School with Pro Bono Distinction in 2021.
Vernon is an associate at WhitbeckBennett’s Wilmington, DE branch where he primarily practices family law. He incorporates his commitment to others into his practice by representing youth with the Office of the Child Advocate, representing domestic abuse victim’s pro bono, volunteering with Wills for Heroes, and in his new role as the Vice Chair to the Family Law section of the Delaware State Bar Association. Vernon also represents indigent parents in proceedings involving the Division of Family Services.
