Kristie Thompson

Kristie Thompson is an Associate Attorney at WhitbeckBeglis.  She received her B.S. in Economics from George Mason University and her J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law with a certificate in Family Law.  

Kristie was a legal intern and extern at the Virginia Office of the Children’s Ombudsman and the Richmond City Attorney’s Office.  Kristie was also a student attorney with the University of Richmond’s Children’s Defense Clinic.  During law school Kristie served as a staff member for Richmond Law’s Public Interest Law Review. 

Following graduating from law school Kristie clerked with the Delaware Family Courts to the Honorable Arlene Minus Coppadge.

Outside of work, Kristie enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with her rescue Jack Russell terrier, Weather.
