A Message from the WhitbeckBennett Family
As we approach the end of the 2021-2022 school year and look forward to summer, it is important to remember that no matter the season, WhitbeckBennett is here to support your education needs. We will never forget the impact of the last two years. COVID-19 left a lasting impact on our education system. As we look ahead, WhitbeckBennett is here to help you move forward, and to advocate and support your education needs.
Recently, WB has made two major strides in its education practice. The first, former Loudoun County School Board member Debbie Rose has joined our team as an Education Advocate. Debbie is here to provide consulting services to help clients navigate what can be complex situations for their children including:
- Gifted and Talented Education
- Special Education
- Student Discipline
- School System Employment
To schedule a consultation with Debbie, please call 1-800-516-3964.
Second, WhitbeckBennett recently successfully litigated against Loudoun County Public Schools to achieve a ruling that clearing a school board meeting in June 2021 violated the Freedom of Information Act. To read more regarding this matter, follow this link.
In addition, in spring 2022, WhitbeckBennett will host a virtual town hall to discuss how we can further assist the community with their education needs. Topics will include Title IX, Special Education, and the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). We will soon advertise the Town Halls, please be on the lookout for your invitation.
