Lynn Fox is a Discovery Specialist Attorney at WhitbeckBennett. She enjoys helping clients with their family law matters, focusing on discovery in particular.
Prior to joining the firm, Lynn worked in domestic relations and complex business litigation. She’s also worked as a legal recruiter in D.C. Previously, she ran her own successful law firm, Preston Fox, P.C. in Virginia Beach, focusing on family law and criminal defense. She has worked for other firms in Norfolk and Virginia Beach, concentrating her practice in the same areas and working on collections and business litigation. Lynn was particularly passionate about her work as a certified guardian ad litem, advocating on behalf of children in custody as well as abuse and neglect cases.
Throughout her career, Lynn has practiced law with some of the most well respected attorneys in their practice areas. She started with a top-notch, national complex business litigation firm in Dayton, Ohio, has worked on multi-million dollar cases representing several of the nation’s leading businesses, and has obtained experience in class actions, contractual and employment disputes, torts, false advertising, and privacy law in both state and federal courts located all over the country.
Lynn is a graduate of the University of Dayton School of Law, where she was a Presidential Scholarship recipient, Executive Editor for the Law Review, and member of the Moot Court team. She holds a B.A. in psychology from the University of Virginia. Lynn is admitted to practice law in several federal courts as well as the states of Virginia and Ohio.
Lynn grew up in Virginia Beach and currently resides in a nearby city. She has two sons, ages 2 and 10. She appreciates spending time with her husband and children as well as photography.
