Ashley Miller

Ashley is Of Counsel at WhitbeckBennett. Before joining WhitbeckBennett, Ashley practiced as a Guardian Ad Litem for children in cases involving allegations of abuse or neglect. Ms. Miller has represented individuals in a variety of general family law matters, estate planning matters, and private adoptions. Upon law school graduation, Ashley was selected as the Advocate Coordinator for the Chesapeake Court Appointed Special Advocates Program. She currently owns and operates a yoga studio in Round Hill, Virginia. 

Ashley received her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law and concentrated her legal education in family law, estate planning, and litigation. During law school, she actively worked with the Houston Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force while interning with the Crimes Against Child Division for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. She was awarded the honor of Mock Trial Champion during the 2010 Garland Walker Mock Trial Competition held annually in Houston, Texas. Prior to law school, Ms. Miller began her career in the legal field as a Juvenile Probation Officer with a focus on cases involving the intervention of Child Protective Services. Ashley earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin in social work with a minor in French. Ms.  Miller had the unique opportunity to study language and politics at La Sorbonne in Paris, France.
